Welcome to Gadsden Horsemen's Association

The purpose of the Gadsden Horsemen's Association is to provide young and old alike the opportunity to participate in an organization designed to improve citizenship, sportsmanship, horsemanship, character, competitive spirit, discipline, and responsibility while creating an atmosphere for learning and development of horse skills.

Our mission:

1. We are committed to honoring and preserving the rich traditions of the Horsemans way of life, including rodeo, Western and english riding, and the cowboy spirit.

2. We promote english, western, ranch, speed and rodeo, and are dedicated to providing opportunities for riders of all skill levels to learn, compete, and enjoy the thrill of horse themed events.

3. We strive to create a strong and close-knit community of like-minded individuals who share a passion for horses, rodeo, and the horsmans lifestyle.

4. Education and Skill Development: We offer resources and opportunities for our members to develop their horsemanship skills, through arena access, show participation and awards, and other GHA community events.

5. Event Promotion: We organize and host 6 pleasure shows, 8 speed shows, 1 rodeos, and numerous gatherings throughout the year that build a sense of belonging among our members and small town community.

6. Community Outreach: We engage with the wider community through the 4 H programs in Gadsden, and surrounding counties to raise awareness about the Horsmans lifestyle and the positive impact it can have on Quincy, Florida.

By focusing on these core principles, the Gadsden Horsemen's Association is dedicated to preserving and promoting the Horseman’s way of life, fostering a thriving rodeo and riding culture, and building a strong, inclusive community of Horse enthusiasts in Quincy, Florida and beyond.
